We are a charity committed to supporting everyone in society—whoever you are, whatever your situation. Every year, we provide free, independent, and expert advice to millions of people on a wide range of issues. This gives us a unique insight into the challenges facing communities across the country—an insight that is valued by policymakers, charities, and businesses alike.
We’re now seeking two new EDI practitioners to join our Equity Advisory Group. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about equity and share our values. You should bring expertise or experience in advancing equity within complex systems, and have a strong understanding of EDI principles—particularly in areas such as social justice, relevant legislation, and participatory approaches to change.
We are especially interested in hearing from people with experience in anti-racism and disability equity.

The Citizens Advice service is made up of our national organisation, Citizens Advice, and 239 local Citizens Advice, all independent registered charities. Our service provides advice on a range of issues - including benefits, debt, discrimination, energy, housing, immigration and work.
In 2024 to 2025, we helped 2.71 million people - by phone, email, webchat or in person. Our website had over 44 million visits and 60.7 million page views. Our Witness Service supported 79,000 witnesses in courts and we also gave pension guidance to people aged over 50.
