Woozle Research is hiring an Equity Research Associate to join our Custom Insights Team in our Glasgow and London offices. About the Role
As an Equity Research Associate, you’ll:
- Lead primary research projects, managing timelines and deliverables with a team of analysts
- Coordinate sample creation of expert participants to ensure high-quality data collection
- Guide and mentor equity research analysts on project execution and deliverable preparation
- Communicate day-to-day with clients, providing progress updates and sharing interim insights
- Design and refine targeted surveys and expert interview guides based on real investor questions
- Conduct and moderate expert calls with subject-matter specialists across industries
- Analyse B2B and B2C survey data to extract patterns, red flags, and investment signals
- Summarise key takeaways from expert calls and surveys into clear, actionable insights
- Build concise investment briefs used by hedge funds and private equity teams
- Collaborate closely with senior analysts to support live client research mandates
- Join internal research huddles to discuss emerging trends, risks, and areas of interest
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in equity research, management consulting, market research, or a related field
- Direct experience or a strong interest in primary research methodologies (surveys and expert interviews)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and clients in a high-expectation environment
- Ability to balance multiple workstreams and priorities autonomously
- Enjoys analysing data to uncover patterns and investment-relevant insights
- Thrives in a collaborative, feedback-rich, and entrepreneurial culture
Pay range and compensation package
- £38,000–£43,000 salary, depending on location and experience
