ESOL Classroom Assistant
Permanent, term time
Part time, 14 hours per week
Salary: Grade 3 BAR £28,784 - £30,189 per annum, Pro Rata (Starting salary commences at £28,784)
Working in the Faculty of Education and Society within the department of ESOL, you will assist in meeting the departments priorities in developing the learning experience for ESOL students. Along with various other tasks, you will support and take guidance from the class lecturer, support learners specific educational needs on a group and one to one basis and assist students with the completion of various forms.
You must possess a Trinity Certificate in TESOL or equivalent qualification, and previous teaching experience would be desirable. Good general ICT skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and previous experience of working with students are also essential.
