Requirements
Outline of Key Responsibilities as an Estate Responder...
- Perform compliance tasks such as block checks, playground inspections, knotweed treatments, and fire safety checks as needed
- Ensure communal services like dry risers, lighting, and surveillance systems function properly, reporting any issues
- Respond promptly and customer-focused to estate issues and assist with complaints resolution
- Conduct property checks to support Neighbourhood Management
- Maintain a visible presence at Operational Depots and Offices for staff and contractor access and security
- Manage bin stores, oversee bin exchanges, and ensure smooth waste collection
- Assist with bulk waste and graffiti removal as necessary
- Record work accurately using digital or manual systems
- Adhere to THG Health & Safety policies and statutory requirements
- Use machinery, equipment, and PPE safely and correctly
- Handle materials and waste safely in accordance with procedures
- Ensure properties are left clean and safe post-work
- Care for tools, materials, and equipment to ensure they are secure and maintained
What We're Looking For Someone Who Has...
- Practical experience within Grounds, Cleaning or Caretaking services.
- Experience using cleaning and waste machinery and equipment.
- A good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently with tenants, colleagues and contractors.
- A full and clean UK manual driving licence
