Situated within beautiful gardens and grounds, the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) is a leading national centre of excellence and one of the longest-running charities and independent hospitals in the UK. Set in a stunning Grade II listed Victorian building, the RHN provides adult person-centred services across the entire care pathway—from post-acute rehabilitation to end-of-life care—for people with complex neuro-disabilities and their families. To carry out with minimum supervision, planned preventive maintenance, fault finding, repairs and minor installation works on all facilities, plant and equipment throughout the RHN Estate. Working on the full range Estates services equipment, the Estates Technician Electrical will undertake activities which require analysis to resolve technical issues on multifaceted equipment/situations many of which have a direct impact on patient safety and the built environment.
ON CALL: This role requires involvement in the on call rota on a 4/5 week basis, to respond to any emergency breakdown requests outside of normal working hours.
There is an additional payment for the on-call week, and any call outs requiring attendance to site are paid applicable overtime rates.
