We Are Looking For a Brilliant ETA Who Will

• Work under the direction of the teacher in our mixed class of EYFS/Y1 pupils in the EYFS unit.
• Adapt support offered according to individual needs, with compassion and empathy.

Ensure a positive, safe, learning environment is maintained in line with school policies.

Manage pupil behaviour in line with school expectations.

Work in partnership with staff across the Early Years unit to monitor, record and report on progress.

Provide effective additional support by leading on group work and one to one support where required.

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Have experience working with children in an Early Years/KS1 setting.
• Effectively lead group work and prepare resources and materials for teaching.
• Be confident, flexible, resilient and solution-focused.
• Build positive relationships with staff, external colleagues, pupils and families.
• Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
