We partner with firms that invest across a range of industries and investment strategies, including financial services, healthcare, technology, manufacturing, and consumer products. Malk/SLR was an early entrant into this rapidly evolving industry and continues to be at the forefront of ESG innovation and defining best practices.

Due diligence projects will vary in depth and breadth depending on client preferences and asset class nuance.
SLR expects Engagement Managers to think creatively about material ESG issues, remain abreast of and develop perspectives on industry-wide ESG, impact, and responsible investment updates, frameworks, and regulations (e.g., UNPRI, SFDR), systematically examine business practices, effectively communicate findings to the team, and develop strong recommendations for tangible improvement. Engagement Managers leverage business strategy, organizational skills, PowerPoint, and Excel to complete high-caliber projects for a range of clients. Engagement Managers will be expected to maintain and develop client relationships and serve as secondary or in some circumstances primary point of contact for SLR’s European private market investor clients while effectively managing multiple teammates and driving forward Europe division priorities. As employee of a new geography for the team, Engagement Managers often have opportunities to work with Responsible Finance Leadership to drive firm-level initiatives in the areas of human capital, marketing, service improvement, technology, and more.
