What’s the role?
We're on the hunt for a dynamic and ambitious Event Manager to join our brand team on an interim basis. This isn't just about organising events; it's about crafting unforgettable experiences for our premium clients and scoping out new opportunities for the IG brand. What will you do?
You'll own our event experiences from start to finish. This means diving deep with our premium client and marketing teams to shape event strategy, crafting flawless plans (timelines, budgets, vendors), and executing every detail, from logistics to ticket management – especially for those high-demand sports and entertainment moments.
- Collaborate with premium client management and brand marketing teams to understand event objectives, target audiences, and key messaging. Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, vendor selection, and logistical arrangements.
- Oversee all aspects of ticket distribution for our premium clients, especially for sports and entertainment events, including allocation, tracking, compliance reporting, and ensuring a smooth experience for attendees.
- Partner with brand marketing teams to ensure consistent brand messaging, visual identity, and overall brand experience across all events as we begin the roll out of our new visual identity. Research new event opportunities and manage existing event portfolios in alignment with brand strategy.

What will you need for this role?
Role
We're seeking someone with a proven track record in events, particularly in dynamic environments. To succeed in this role, we think you’ll need:
- 7+ years of event experience, ideally from fast-paced tech, startup, or scale-up settings.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, enabling you to handle multiple events simultaneously, and at pace.
- Strong track record of delivering events for, and working closely with, premium account management teams or business development teams.
- Experience managing intimate events, for high-value clients.
- Experience in ticket distribution, preferably for sports events.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels of the business and externally.
- Willingness to travel (domestic only) and work flexible hours as required for events.
It's a Bonus If You Have
- Experience with major sports brand partnerships.
- An understanding of, or experience in, investing, trading, cryptocurrency, or general fintech.
