Based: Durham plus hybrid working
Department: Events - finance and corporate services
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: Part-time - 21 hours per week (3 days).
Salary: £16,800 per annum plus Chamber benefits
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Chamber delivers the largest business-to-business events programme in the North East. This is made up of diverse formats from policy roundtables, structured networking to major regional awards and conferences.
The events officer will support the delivery of all areas of the Chamber’s events programme, through planning, administration and on-site delivery.
This customer-facing role supports our members in engaging with one another, networking and learning, as the programme is the most engaged membership service we deliver.
Working closely with the events team and reporting to the events and awards manager, the postholder will ensure that events are well organised, clearly communicated and delivered professionally and efficiently.
The role is hands-on, dynamic and key to ensuring that members, sponsors and partners experience a consistently high standard of service.
