An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced candidate to join The Events team at Norwich City Football Club in the role of Events Assistant, for a fixed term period for 3 months from September to December 2025.
This role is to support and assist the Carrow Road Events Team through the administration of bookings and events, and hosting on Christmas Party Nights. Main Duties will include assisting with Christmas bookings.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Handle incoming phone, web, live chat, and email enquiries efficiently and to high standards.
- Serve as the main point of contact for Christmas Party Night customers.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate preparation of event materials.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date event function sheets and administration.
- Manage dietary requirements, guest numbers, and pre-orders.
- Ensure compliance with Carrow Road terms, conditions, and payment processes.
- Support the sales process for event bookings.
- Host Christmas party events with a professional and welcoming presence.
- To act in a manner that supports the Club’s Values of Growth, Integrity, Belonging, Resilience, Pride and Commitment
Skills and attributes:
- Exceptional organisational skills and clear demonstration of being able to prioritise individual workload
- Excellent communication and customer service skills including a professional telephone manner
- Good understanding of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to pick up internal systems quickly
- Positive and proactive manner
- An understanding of contractual procedures and financial invoice procedures.
