Job brief
We are looking for an Events Manager to join the Events Team at Servers.com. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organising and running events. While this will largely focus on supporting the Sales Team with attendance and exhibitions at trade shows, this will also include the organisation of internal events such as sales and marketing kick-off, company socials, and customer focused bespoke events.
As an Events Manager you will be responsible for managing the whole event process from the planning stage, right through to execution and carrying out the post-event evaluation. There will also be the requirement to attend and run events, both in the UK and overseas. Furthermore, you will also be involved in the annual event planning process, which will include budget support and reporting on completed events.
You will be expected to work closely with teams both internally and externally to deliver events. Whether working with legal to secure contracts, or booth suppliers ahead of exhibitions, you will often be the first point of contact, responsible for ensuring events are delivered on time, according to budget and to the highest standard.
You will be part of an Events team and will report to the Events Team Lead. The Events Team is part of the Marketing Team at servers.com.
Working hours
You'll generally work normal office hours in the lead up to an event, but may need to work extra hours, including evenings and weekends, closer to the event. For some events, travel will be required to support the team attending the event.
