Role Summary
We have an exciting opportunity within our events marketing team at Wonderly. Wonderly delivers large and small scale events and conferences on behalf of our clients, who are leading Associations. Working closely with the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for shaping and delivering robust marketing plans and objectives, which are based around the strategies devised for a portfolio of conference and exhibition style events, ranging from 60 to 11,500+attendees.

Key responsibilities & accountabilities
- Produce and deliver detailed marketing plans based around the strategy focusing on; driving free and paid registrations, generating commercial leads, supporting customer adoption and retention, and improving customer advocacy for the events and the client’s wider brand
- In conjunction with the Marketing Director, become the brand guardian for your events
- Develop and maintain a high level of sector specific knowledge to provide insights and produce effective marketing plans to meet overall strategic objectives
- Account management support with key suppliers, partners and our client
- Review on going campaign performance to guide direction and delivery of campaigns
- Ensure each show’s websites and content are up to date and optimised
- Track and manage the event marketing budgets and ensure all activity is within budget
Essential
Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum Criteria
- Experienced B2B marketer, with a minimum of 4 years in events marketing, ideally within a manager position or ready to take the next step in your career
- Proven track record in delivering successful event marketing strategies, planning multi-channel marketing campaigns, ideally within a B2B or agency environment.
- Confident, creative copywriter, who takes a customer centric approach to content writing
- Experienced brand custodian able to work on multiple and varied projects with internal and external key stakeholders
- Experience in project management with good attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
