ME7 £31,524 - £ 33,417 full time salary. Pro rata for 30 hours of the week and 42 weeks of the year.
We are looking to employ an experienced Business Administrator to join and support our team of Education Welfare Officers, Managers and Elective Home Education Advisor. You will have the opportunity to make full use of your excellent administrative, IT and customer service skills. Being a good communicator, having an excellent phone manner and being an active team player are essential to this post as is the ability to prioritise your workload and work to tight deadlines. A knowledge of the role and duties of the Education Welfare Service is essential.
Main Duties Will Include
- Carrying out the administrative and financial functions of the service.
- Supporting the Education Welfare Service’s drive to raise attendance and safeguard children.
- Being the first point of contact to the EWS.
- Supporting the statutory functions of the service and including Children in Employment, Children in Entertainment and Chaperone Licenses.
- Supporting the legal functions of the service including the issuing of Penalty Notices.
- Maintaining and developing existing recording and filing systems to improve information sharing and meet data reporting requirements.
