Overview
The Design Museum is the world’s leading museum devoted to contemporary design. The museum reopened in a fantastic new building in Kensington in 2016 and is used for a range of unique events, including drinks receptions, dinners, awards ceremonies, product launches, filming, weddings and conferences.
Job scope
The Commercial Hire & Events Executive will be responsible for the successful delivery of small-scale commercial events and internal museum events. They will also support the Commercial Hire & Event Managers with larger-scale projects.
The individual will ensure events are run successfully and efficiently, in accordance with current health and safety legislation, to enhance the museum's reputation as an events venue and maximise opportunities for repeat business.
