Purpose

To provide high-level, proactive, and confidential executive support to the CEO of ScottishPower Renewables (SPR), as well as assist the SPR Leadership Team.

The role requires exceptional organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage a wide range of responsibilities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the heart of our global operations, ensuring the CEO’s schedule runs seamlessly and that every meeting, trip, and engagement is executed with precision.

From coordinating international travel and managing complex diaries to preparing high-impact presentations and handling sensitive communications, you’ll be trusted with responsibilities that directly influence the success of our business.

You’ll be the go-to person for internal and external stakeholders, confidently managing relationships and influencing others to meet critical deadlines. Your ability to anticipate needs, solve problems, and maintain confidentiality will play a key part in this position.

As part of your remit, you’ll also oversee the smooth running of SPR Leadership Team meetings, ensuring all participants are equipped with timely and accurate information. You’ll attend meetings alongside the CEO, capturing actions and driving follow-ups, while also supporting Iberdrola senior stakeholders during UK visits.

Skills And Requirements

  • Excellent inter-personal skills, including influence, persuasion, assertiveness, and diplomacy.
  • Experience of working within senior management environment.
  • Effective problem solving skills, ability to be resourceful, proactive and work on own initiative.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure, to meet deadlines and manage time/workload effectively
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and communicate with stakeholders at all levels, internal and external.
  • Flexibility and adaptable approach to work.
  • Discretion in managing sensitive and confidential information.
  • Understanding the importance of delivery.
  • Excellent accuracy and presentation in written work.
  • Customer focused team player able to display maturity.


Minimum Criteria

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
  • Effective problem-solving skills, ability to be resourceful, proactive and work on own initiative.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • demonstrable experience working as a personal assistant within a senior leadership environment and / or transferrable skills within a Customer Centric Role.
