About the role:
We are currently offering exciting full-time opportunities for talented people to join our Wakefield team as a Civil or Structural Engineer with 2-5 years of relevant post graduate experience.
The ideal candidate will be accredited or working towards chartership with the Institution of Civil or Structural Engineers, and we offer the opportunity to reach chartered status quickly. This opportunity will provide the right candidate with a high degree of carefully supported responsibility from the out-set, dealing directly with clients and getting involved in the detailed design of a wide variety of projects, as well as gaining invaluable experience by working with a team of friendly experienced professionals.
The Wakefield office opened in early 2020 and is looking to expand further with an exciting pipeline of projects on the horizon. You will be joining the office at an exciting time, offering opportunities for ambitious engineers to develop management skills and help the business grow by mentoring graduates.
About you:
Civil / Structural Engineer Requirements:
· The ideal candidate will hold an accredited Civil Engineering degree (2:1 or higher)
· Previous experience using Microsoft Office is required and experience in other software packages such as AutoCAD, Tekla, TEDDS, MicroDrainage, Civils 3D etc.
· Ability to design structures in common materials to Eurocode standards.
· The position is open to engineers with experience ideally between 2-5 years of relevant post graduate experience, but more junior or senior roles may be considered.
