📍 Location Wickford (with occasional travel to Colchester)
💷 Salary £13.26 per hour
🕒 Hours Full-time - 37.5 hours per week (rota includes nights, weekends & bank holidays)

What You’ll Be Doing
- 🧩 Support individuals with daily living, social engagement & independence
- 👥 Lead and mentor a team of support workers to deliver outstanding care
- 📋 Maintain accurate records and risk assessments (paper and electronic)
- 🚘 Drive company vehicles (automatic) to support service user outings
- 💬 Communicate effectively with families, professionals, and the wider team
- 🏠 Foster a safe, caring, and empowering home environment
- 📈 Help shape a responsive, inclusive, and well-led service
- 🔒 Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and person-centred practice at all times
- ✔️ At least 3 years’ experience in social care, including time as a Senior Support Worker
- 🚘 Full UK driving licence - confident driving automatic vehicles
- 📚 Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 2 (minimum), and willing to work towards Level 3
- 🧠 Solid understanding of supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs
- 🖥️ Competent with IT - Word, email, record keeping, and care systems
- 💡 Strong leadership skills, flexibility, and a positive, proactive mindset
- 🛡️ Experience with safeguarding, risk assessment, team supervision, and promoting independence
