What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning, implementing & processing the export of deliveries of military equipment under current legislation
- Ensuring compliance to regulatory, legislative, and contractual requirements and adhering to UK trade controls, delivery terms and their implementation
- Liaising with customers and other internal or external bodies (e.g. – freight forwarders) on various Export matters
- Ensuring governance and compliance regarding the physical delivery of customer and BAE Systems’ assets are always considered & adhered to
- Ensuring the financial element of export operations are considered at every opportunity
Essential
Your skills and experiences:
- Experience within supply chain or international trade environment
- Solid applied knowledge of international trade matters with good experience of applying up to date export techniques
- Previous experience in a export/import or freight forwarder environment would be beneficial
- Must have keen attention to detail and be able to work in a fast paced, highly pressurised team
- Able to work on your own and part of a team to meet demands
- IT competent with good Microsoft word and excel skills
