Division: Exposure Management

Job Summary
To assist the Exposure Management team in providing and ensuring aggregate data within Property Covers is accurate, complete and entered on a timely basis whilst providing aggregate analysis support to the Underwriting teams.

Job Summary
To assist the Exposure Management team in providing and ensuring aggregate data within Property Covers is accurate, complete and entered on a timely basis whilst providing aggregate analysis support to the Underwriting teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for entering risk bordereaux, including location & policy data including perils, sub-limits and deductibles into Moody’s RMS Risk Modeler
- Liaise with external service provider and update File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site with schedules that require cleansing & downloading cleansed schedules
- Liaise with underwriting assistants / brokers & Covers teams to obtain location data
- Obtain highest acceptable level of geocoding per risk using available tools & resources
- Ensure monthly entry deadlines for Covers Catastrophe modelling are met
- Supply the above information to Underwriters and Underwriting Assistants during quoting
- Ensure Data quality for Covers, through formal entry Quality Control process
- Assist in development of automated data cleansing solutions
- Prepare and provide statistics and information in order to serve the requirements of underwriters and clients.
- Respond to client queries in an accurate and timely fashion to develop the brand image of Beazley.
- Liaise with external data input clerks and respective underwriters.
- Provide a professional service to brokers in person, by email and on the telephone.
- Produce ad hoc reports for the underwriters and other members of staff when requested.
Skills and Abilities
- Accurate and numerate with attention to detail
- Strong computer skills - Advanced Excel, & Access
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to manage own time and prioritise work
- Coding skills (SQL, R) preferred but not essential
