About The Role
As an Early Years Foundation Stage Midday Assistant, you will play an essential part in supporting our youngest pupils during the lunchtime period. Your role will be to ensure their safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment as they eat, play, and interact with others. You will supervise children in the dining hall, on the playground, and around the school, promoting positive behaviour, good manners, and independence. Whether you're helping children learn how to use cutlery correctly or guiding them in respectful and safe play, you’ll be a key part of their daily experience at school.
This role is needed 2 hours a day, 5 days a week during term time.

We are looking for someone who is warm, attentive, and confident working with young children. You should be proactive, able to manage behaviour calmly, and promote a nurturing environment where every child feels secure. A first aid qualification is ideal, but if you don’t have one, we’ll support your training. If you’re reliable, flexible, and genuinely enjoy working with children in a supportive, team-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you. This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a positive impact in a school setting, even within just a few key hours each day.
