Your new school

Here at Hatfield Woodhouse Primary School we are on a journey of consistent improvement and are currently ranked in the top 2% of primary schools for the teaching of Maths during 2019. Our Ofsted grading is ‘Good’ in all areas (February 2019).

Our 222 children, aged between 3 and 11, come from the village itself or travel in (many by school bus) from other neighbouring villages. We pride ourselves on our hard-working staff, our supportive AAB and our delightful children. Our school was first built in 1877 and we have been striving to improve the education we provide ever since! Visitors to our school frequently comment on the lovely family-like atmosphere. The academy is a busy and vibrant place. We pride ourselves on knowing our children well and doing our best to ensure everyone fulfils their potential.
