Academy Facilities Assistant
Salary: Outer London Business Support Scale, Grade 3\4 (Spine Points 14 – 21) FTE £28,519.00 -£30,626.00 including London Weighting, plus a salary adjustment of £1,188.29 - £1,276.08 per annum (depending on spine point) for working above full-time equivalent hours.
Location: The Link School Satellite Sites: Satellite, Mollison Drive (Access via Lancastrian Road, Wallington, SM6 9JN) & The Cottage, 3 Carew Manor Cottages, Church Road, Wallington SM6 7NH.
Working Pattern 38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:45-16:00 hours (all year round), with a 45mins lunch break.
The Link School specialises in meeting the needs of 160 students from 4-19 with Speech, Language and Communication difficulties including autistic spectrum conditions and Pathological Demand Avoidance. In addition to the Primary and Secondary sites, it also has a satellite provision which provides a safe and nurturing environment for autistic young people who show demand avoidant profiles.
Situated in the London Borough of Sutton all four sites are easily accessible by public transport and well placed to draw upon a wide range of leisure, recreational and educational facilities having easy access to Surrey and London.
The school provides a warm, safe, friendly and nurturing environment, which helps pupils to learn, express their ideas, communicate, develop friendships and grow in confidence and self- esteem.
