Gloucester's Facilities Service Operator performs a vital role within Safran's ability to ensure all Site infrastructure and Systems are performing as expected to meet site requirements. These systems support the Heating of Workplaces and Water Treatment Processes.
This role requires commitment to a regular shift pattern detailed below. The unsociable hours will attract a lucrative premium, making this an attractive opportunity for those able to facilitate the required hours. Please only apply if you are able to commit to the following:
Week 1 Monday-Thursday 07.30-16.00
Friday 07.30-12.30
Saturday 08.00-12.00 (Time and a half)
Sunday 08.00-12.00 (Double time)
Week 2 Monday-Thursday 07.30-16.00
Week 3 Friday 21.45-07.40 (night premium plus any hours falling on Saturday time and a half)
Saturday 21.45-07.40 (night premium plus any hours falling on Saturday time and a half and Sunday double time)
Sunday 21.45-07.40 (night premium plus any hours falling on Sunday double time)
Monday-Wednesday 21.45-07.30 (night premium)
Thursday 07.30 -06.50 (night premium)

What will I be doing?
Principle Responsibilities:
* Maintain the safe operation of the main industrial steam boilers and all steam plant and equipment in accordance with site procedure and regulations
* Treatment of trade effluent in accordance with site procedure and regulation
* Operation and control of the electro plating swill water-recycling plants.
* Testing and lab analysis of treated effluent.
* Additional mechanical services, inspections and fault diagnoses
What do I need to succeed in the role?
Technical Competencies required:
* All relevant training will be provided but we are looking for somebody with a good foundation of mechanical knowledge as well as demonstrable experience of working within a reactive capacity
* BOAS trained desirable but training can be provided
* Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental issues relating to plant maintenance
