Factory Inspections are performed at the manufacturing locations to monitor client continued compliance. It is the Field Inspector’s role to ensure clients are continuingly meeting their responsibilities to ensure listed products are manufactured in compliance with the component, constructional detail and applicable safety standards. Follow-up Service inspections are used to provide Intertek with assurance our clients are using Intertek certification marks properly.

The Factory Inspector perform ongoing audits of a manufacturer’s quality control programs and ensure the required manufacturing and production line testing is being conducted and recorded as prescribed in the Listing Report for a given product.
