What You’ll Be Doing
Tooling & Equipment Coordination
- Maintain a live register of all hired-in tools and access equipment
- Track usage and ensure proper allocation across projects
- Monitor condition and escalate issues as needed
- Ensure all equipment meets health & safety standards
- Liaise with suppliers for timely delivery and collection
- Oversee allocation and maintenance of factory hire platforms (e.g., FLT, Combi, Elevated Platforms)
- Coordinate hire needs with Finance and APMs
- Track performance metrics and suggest improvements
- Maintain operator and platform compliance records
- Monitor and record waste data across the factory
- Ensure proper segregation, storage, and disposal in line with regulations
- Coordinate with waste contractors and manage documentation
- Produce monthly waste reports for internal and external use
- Support sustainability and recycling initiatives
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in operations coordination, logistics, or facilities management
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Familiarity with H&S and environmental compliance in a factory or construction setting
- Excellent communication skills for working with internal teams and external suppliers
- A problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Awareness of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 14001)
- Forklift or vehicle operation license (if applicable)
