About This Opportunity
The Family Help Manager � Youth Connect acts as Lead for Missing and exploitation both operationally and tactical. The Role represents CSC at various Strategic groups and meetings.
To manage the delivery of Exploitation and Missing Service and a team of Child Exploitation Intervention workers to deliver bespoke interventions to children and their families who are at risk of or currently being exploited.
The Manager acts as Missing from Home and Care coordinator and allocation of Return Home Interviews maintaining a tracker of all children and monitors timeliness and quality of RHI and intervention.
The post holder will have direct line management responsibility for a team of Child Exploitation Intervention workers (CEIW). The CEIW undertake direct work with Children and their families who have been or are currently being impacted by exploitation. The CEIW undertake all Return Home Interviews for children open to social care. The Family Help Manager � Youth Connect role sits within Family Help, Partnership and Youth Justice and reports to the Youth Justice and Youth Connect Service Manager.
With multi agency partners you will ensure application of a consistent Child Exploitation risk assessment process across Cumberland. The process will capture the voice of the child, produce bespoke and effective multi-agency safety plans to create and build on safety for children at risk of exploitation.
The Family Help Manager � Youth Connect acts as an advisor across the service and is involved �at the front door� linking in with the Safeguarding Hub and providing advice and feedback at the point of MASH when Child Exploitation concerns have been identified.
This role is available on an initial fixed-term basis to cover sickness for a period of six-months.
