A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking a Family Paralegal to join its growing private family team in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal looking to develop their career within family law, working on a varied and high-quality caseload alongside experienced solicitors.

The Role

You will support fee earners across a broad range of private family matters, gaining exposure to cases from initial instruction through to resolution.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with a varied caseload of private family matters, including Children Act and matrimonial finance cases
• Drafting legal documents such as C100 applications, Forms E, consent orders, divorce applications and correspondence
• Preparing and collating court bundles for hearings and counsel
• Liaising with clients, offering clear updates, practical support and reassurance, particularly in sensitive matters
• Attending client meetings, conferences with counsel and court hearings where required

About You

• Previous experience as a Family Paralegal or within a family law team
• Good working knowledge of private family law procedures and documentation
• Strong drafting and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator with a professional and empathetic approach to clients
• Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using case management systems and Microsoft Office
