Location: Brighton, East Sussex
Experience: 3-4+ PQE (privately funded family law)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive - DOE
A growing Brighton law firm is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join its supportive Family team, handling exclusively privately funded matters with a client-focused approach.
Manage a varied caseload including:
Divorce, separation, cohabitation, and civil partnership disputes
Financial remedy proceedings
Prenuptial and Cohabitation Agreements
Private law children cases
Responsibilities:
Handling client enquiries and building relationships
Drafting legal documents and court applications
Providing advocacy where needed
Supporting business development
Mentoring junior colleagues
Maintaining compliance and client care standards
Qualified Solicitor with 3-4+ years' PQE (less considered if able to manage own caseload)
Strong technical knowledge of family law
Excellent client care and communication skills
Organised, detail-focused, and confident under pressure
