Family Thrive Team Manager and lead a dynamic team dedicated to early help and prevention. This is your opportunity to shape services that support children, young people, and families to thrive—right when they need it most.
What’s the Role?
As a
Family Thrive Team Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our Prevention & Family Advice Service. You’ll lead a team including Senior Family Practitioners, Early Help Coordinators and Family Practitioners, ensuring high-quality, responsive support for families facing complex challenges. You will be a part of a management team including Senior Therapists. Your role will include:
- Managing day-to-day operations and resource allocation
- Supervising and developing staff through regular supervision and performance reviews
- Driving service improvement through data analysis and performance monitoring
- Collaborating with partners across health, education, and social care to deliver joined-up support
- Ensuring safeguarding standards and best practices are upheld
- Promoting Signs of Safety, a whole-family, strengths-based approach to intervention

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident, compassionate leader with:
- Substantial experience supporting vulnerable children, young people, and families
- A strong understanding of safeguarding, early intervention, and multi-agency working
- Proven ability to manage and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- A commitment to anti-racist, equality, diversity, and anti-discriminatory practice
- A relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience in social care, health, or children’s services

Location
The job is primarily based across two Family Hubs in Lewisham, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Salary
£50,646 - £52,674 per annum (PO4)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
