A new opportunity has arisen to join our enthusiastic and friendly teams, who are committed and passionate about delivering outstanding patient care, and delivering on the 28 day Faster Diagnosis Standard, by providing an earlier diagnosis to our patients referred on a suspected cancer pathway.
This is an exciting time to join the Head and Neck tumour site as FDS Navigator with the post holder responsible for supporting our patients through their pathways. There will need to be an emphasis on tracking patients through the diagnostic investigation part of the pathway, ensuring results are clinically reviewed and any further investigations or follow-up appointments made in a timely way.
The post holder will also be responsible for tracking all patients on the cancer pathway in conjunction with the MDT Coordinator from the Cancer Service Team, attending weekly meetings and provide any information that may be required to support improvements in the FDS pathways and facilitating earlier diagnosis.
