Job Title: Field Service Engineer – Vibration Test Equipment
Location: Shepreth, Hertfordshire
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
VHR is recruiting a Field Service Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading provider of Vibration Test Equipment Systems. This role offers the chance to work on technically advanced equipment across the UK and internationally, supporting customers in a wide range of industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair Vibration Test Equipment at customer sites
- Perform preventive maintenance in line with technical procedures
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
- Collaborate with engineering and customer service teams to complete tasks on time
- Travel across the UK and internationally, sometimes at short notice
- Follow all health and safety guidelines while on-site
- Carry out other tasks as required to support operational needs
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2/BTEC or higher in mechanical or electrical engineering
- HNC and experience with vibration testing is an advantage
- Experience in maintenance of industrial systems
- Confident with industrial electronics, 3-phase systems, and high-voltage/current environments
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, flexible, and capable of working independently
- Full UK driving license and valid passport
