About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Field Support Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience to provide on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, customer-facing experience, and the ability to work independently across multiple locations.

You will play a key role in ensuring IT systems are operational, reliable, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site (field-based) technical support to end users and client locations
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues
Support Windows-based environments and common business applications
Perform network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, basic switch/router checks)
Manage user accounts, access permissions, and basic security tasks
Log, track, and resolve incidents using ticketing systems
Coordinate with central IT teams and vendors for issue resolution
Perform site visits, system upgrades, and equipment replacements

Maintain clear documentation of field activities and resolutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Field Support, Desktop Support, or IT Support roles
Strong hands-on experience with Windows OS (Windows 10/11)
Experience supporting hardware, peripherals, and end-user devices
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management processes
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach
Ability to work independently and manage multiple site visits
Valid driving licence (if field travel is required)

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

Experience with Active Directory and user access management
Exposure to Microsoft 365 and endpoint management tools
Basic knowledge of server or cloud environments
IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or equivalent)
Experience working in enterprise or multi-site environments
