Role: Finance Administrator

Salary: Competitive

Location: Northampton

The Accountancy & Finance Division at The ONE Group is exclusively partnering with a well-established and global leading organisation is looking for a Finance Administrator to join a busy finance team. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is keen to learn and is confident picking up new systems and processes quickly. You do not need to have experience in every area, as full training and support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Support the monthly employee expenses process, ensuring claims are reviewed and paid on time
Ensure VAT compliance across employee expense and credit card claims
Set up new users and maintain master data within the expense management system
Upload approved expenses accurately into the ERP system for payment
Assist with the monthly BACS run for employee expenses
Support the administration of monthly payroll, including starters and leavers
Process holidays, sickness and overtime accurately

Assist with payroll reporting, posting and processing activities

Support pension processing and ensure submissions are completed on time

Assist with the collation and processing of employee bonuses

Support the management of monthly employee credit card claims

Ensure credit card transactions are posted and matched accurately to the ledger

Assist with audit requests and provide information to the wider business

Support balance sheet reconciliations relating to payroll creditors

Assist with statutory submissions and annual returns

Get involved in projects to improve finance workflows, systems and processes

Skills & Experience Required

Some experience in a finance, payroll or administrative role, or a strong desire to build a career in finance
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to learn new skills
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Confident using Excel and finance systems, or quick to pick up new tools
A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
