Finance Administrator (Procurement )

The UCL Cancer Institute is home to over 400 scientists driving world‑leading cancer research. We're looking for a proactive Finance Administrator (Procurement) to join our Professional Services team and support the smooth running of financial operations across the Institute.

🔎 About the Role

In this varied and impactful role, you will:

• Support non‑core account activity and budget holders
• Raise purchase orders and sales invoices
• Manage expense claims, IDJs/IDTs and credit control tasks
• Monitor finance inboxes and respond to staff queries
• Produce income/expenditure summaries and support year‑end processes
• Ensure all activity complies with UCL financial policies

You'll work closely with the Management Accountant and wider Finance team to deliver accurate, responsive financial support to staff across the Institute.

👤 About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Strong IT and Excel skills
• Experience in finance or budgetary administration
• Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., Oracle)
• Good communication and organisational skills
