Assessment Centre
If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to an in-person assessment centre on either Thursday 11th September or Friday 12th September in Salford Quays.
Duration: Approximately 2.5 hours
Activities:
- A structured interview
- A practical finance-based exercise
- A collaborative group task

What You’ll Do
As a key member of our finance team, you’ll be responsible for:
- Data Analysis & Insight: Dive deep into large data sets to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities. Prepare accurate financial reports and provide insightful commentary to support strategic decisions.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with finance colleagues and business units to challenge assumptions, influence decisions, and drive value.
- Financial Control: Ensure robust financial controls are in place and adhered to, maintaining the integrity of our financial data.
- Problem Solving: Act as a go-to expert for complex queries, proactively resolving issues and identifying root causes.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement operational efficiencies to streamline processes and enhance performance.
Who You Are
Your skills and experience will include
- Experience in a finance/accounting role
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office
- Analytical mindset with a passion for solving problems using data
- Confident communicator with the ability to explain complex information clearly
- A proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
