Job Description
About the role:
Job Title: Finance Analyst
Location: Head Office, Leicestershire
Salary: Competitive plus bonus & benefits
We’re looking for a commercially minded
Finance Analyst with
strong SQL and Power BI skills to join our Label & New Business Finance Team. This isn’t a Data Analyst role – it’s a hands-on, business-facing position where you’ll use data and insight to influence decisions, challenge costs, and help shape the future of our third-party brands.
You’ll work closely with both finance and non-finance teams, providing clear, actionable analysis that helps our partners – from Adidas and Superdry to Animal and Scion – grow profitably and sustainably.
While a finance background would be useful, what matters most is your ability to work with large datasets, tell a story with numbers, and support stakeholders in making smarter, data-driven decisions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Analysing brand-level profitability – spotting trends, tracking performance, and identifying areas for improvement
- Using SQL and Power BI to build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools
- Supporting new brand launches by appraising commercial performance and setting clear success metrics
- Preparing clear, insightful analysis for senior leaders to inform decision-making
- Collaborating with finance, buying, and merchandising teams to evaluate new branded wholesale opportunities
- Monitoring and controlling spend across key cost centres
- Ensuring our financial reporting, allocations, and forecasts are joined-up and accurate
About you:
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years’ experience in a finance, commercial, or analytical role
- Strong SQL and Power BI skills – experience handling large datasets is essential
- Advanced Excel skills – PowerPivot/Power Query a plus
- CIMA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent) – desirable but not essential
- Confident building financial models and presenting analysis to stakeholders
- Commercially aware, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- A team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to challenge the status quo
Why you’ll love it here:
This is more than just number-crunching – it’s your chance to make a direct impact on the performance of some of the UK’s most recognised brands. You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-moving team that values insight, innovation, and doing things differently.
