Finance Analyst – Capital Projects
We are partnering with a a well-established, high-growth organisation who are seeking a commercially minded Finance Analyst to join its dynamic FP&A function. This role focuses on FP&A and reporting of capital investments across a wide range of initiatives. We’re looking for someone detail-oriented and proactive, with strong analytical skills and a drive for process improvement. You’ll be supporting Capex planning and forecasting, providing key insights to senior stakeholders, and working cross-functionally with teams across operations, property, technology, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present monthly reforecasts of capital spend to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and continuously improve capex models to ensure accurate and transparent reporting.
- Business partner with operational teams to validate assumptions, monitor spend, and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Support budgeting processes with a focus on long-term capital investment planning.
- Deliver insightful analysis and dashboards to senior leadership and investors.
- Help manage project governance and financial controls within the group’s ERP system.
- Contribute to process improvements and enhance reporting quality.
- Liaise with accounting teams to reconcile capex reporting and maintain fixed asset registers.
About You:
- Strong financial modelling and data analysis capabilities in Excel.
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with experience in capex forecasting and planning.
- Proficient in working with large datasets and producing clear, actionable outputs.
- Highly organised, curious, and self-driven—able to manage competing priorities.
- Skilled at building relationships and working across functions.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP desirable, but not essential).
