At Ormiston Ilkeston Enterprise Academy, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Finance and Administration Apprentice to join our team. The postholder will be required to assist the finance department in various tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. You will support the finance and admin functions of the business and learn from experienced professionals.
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone enthusiastic, motivated and eager to start a career in finance. As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience while supporting staff and pupils in day-to-day activities.
In this role, you will work on various finance tasks including generating purchase order, maintaining records, responding to internal and external queries via email, phone and Teams. This role will support the wider team with tasks and projects as needed.
As part of the apprenticeship, you will take part in training and complete coursework towards your qualification. The apprenticeship is supported by LMP and is a 12-month Apprenticeship Contract.

About You
We are looking for someone with GCSE’s in English and Maths Grade 6 or above, confident with numbers and using Microsoft applications such as Teams, Sharepoint and Outlook.
The role requires the postholder to have good communication and interpersonal skills. We are seeking someone who is reliable, punctual and professional.
