Finance Assistant - Africa, Middle East & ISC

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Finance Executive to join the Branded Business Unit Finance team based in Richmond within the Africa and Middle East region. This role touches many different functions across the business; commercial, marketing, supply chain, as well as external partners. Due to the scale and complexity of the region, the role exposes you to different business challenges which we collectively must navigate.

What you will be doing

This role helps in the provision of management reporting and maintenance of processes and controls around key transactions. Ensure data integrity in core reporting tools and team outputs. Provide accurate and timely information as required to meet Group Finance needs and timescales.

One of the main priorities for the role will be supporting planning and reporting cycles in the region within the Finance calendar, and that key deadlines are met in completion of the detailed bottom-up build and actual financial reporting preparation for the region. Another key requirement will be to support governance and compliance across the region.

About You

You will be an enthusiast individual with a can-do attitude. You will be competent in excel and ideally had previous commercial finance experience. You will also be confident in your abilities to communicate (both verbal and written) and build rapport with stakeholders and leaders across the business and be able to establish positive working relationships with individuals across the globe remotely.
