Our Financial Services practice is looking for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join our highly successful asset backed lending team in our London office. This is an exciting time to join SPB, as we continue to grow our international FS group.

Our asset backed lending team is a leading legal services provider to the receivables financing and asset-based lending industry in the UK. Led by the London team, we have specialists throughout our UK and European offices. Their skills are complimented by members of our Restructuring & Insolvency team, and our wider FS practice.

You will have the opportunity to get involved in a varied workload with plenty of scope for direct client contact. The role will suit an outstanding lawyer with a commercial attitude along with a confident and proactive approach, with good people skills, the ability to work as a team player and evidence of ability to network.
You
We're looking for someone with between 5-8 years' post-qualification experience with a track record of operating confidently with blue-chip clients on large and complex transactions.
A strong background in banking and transactional work is essential, with specific asset backed lending commercial experience required for this role.
You will be coming from areputable national or international practice and will have excellent academics. You will be motivated and eager to develop long-lasting relationships, both internally and with clients, intermediaries and other firms in our market. Our associates work closely with our clients and other advisors so good communication skills are essential.
