We're supporting a private equity–backed real estate platform looking to hire a Finance Business Partner into its group finance team, following a recent restructure.
This is a cost-focused, commercially embedded role, partnering operational and procurement stakeholders to drive cost visibility, cash discipline and performance reporting across the portfolio.
What the role looks like:
• Business partnering across operational teams with a strong cost and cash focus
• Ownership of cashflow forecasting and short- to medium-term liquidity visibility
• OPEX, CAPEX, G&A and headcount analysis, with active challenge of assumptions
• KPI reporting at team and corporate level, including consolidations
• Close collaboration with procurement on supplier spend and cost control
• Ad-hoc analysis and senior stakeholder requests, including PE-level asks
This is a hands-on, BAU-led position. It’s not a revenue growth, M&A or fundraising role — the value-add is in clean analysis, strong Excel, clear insight and confident stakeholder management.
What they’re looking for:
• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Strong FP&A / Finance Business Partnering background
• Experience in real estate, assets, infrastructure or capital-intensive environments (preferred but not essential)
• Comfortable challenging costs and partnering non-finance stakeholders
• Highly organised, detail-driven and commercially minded
Package & flexibility:
• £70,000 – £75,000 base salary
• 20% bonus
• Hybrid working (3 days per week in a Central London office)
• ASAP start, but open to notice periods
• Also open to interim to perm candidates (£400–£425 per day, inside IR35)
