Finance Business Partner / Finance & Planning Analyst (Assistant Manager)
Ideally located within commuting distance of Milton Keynes, Leeds, Liverpool Manchester, or Birmingham

The Finance Business Partner/Finance & Planning Analyst plays a key role in supporting strategic decision-making by delivering insightful financial analysis, robust forecasting, and performance reporting. This role partners closely with business leaders to enhance financial understanding, drive accountability, and support the delivery of business objectives through data-driven insights.

A look into the role
As a Finance Planning & Analysis – Assistant Manager, within our FP&A team, you will support with:
- Annual budgeting and rolling forecasts
- Monthly and quarterly performance reporting and variance analysis
- Scenario modelling and long-term planning
- Development and maintenance of financial models and dashboards
- Supporting strategic initiatives with financial insight and analysis
Knowing you’re right for us
Joining us as a Finance Planning & Analysis – Assistant Manager, the minimum criteria you’ll need is to be a newly or part-qualified accountant (ACA or CIMA preferred) with prior experience in financial analysis or management reporting. You will also need strong IT and communication skills. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box – we’ll help you develop along the way:
- Experience working in professional services or a complex matrix organisation
- Advanced Excel and data visualisation skills
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Well organised and able to work to deadlines
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
