We are currently recruiting Divisional Finance Business Partner for our newly created events division with Hand Picked Hotels, this role can be based from the South or Midlands as you will be expected to travel with this role on a weekly basis.
This new and exciting opportunity will focus on delivering a highly effective commercial and proactive financial service, from a finance business partnering perspective. You will be a key influencer and be part of the senior leadership team shaping the future within Hand Picked Hotels.
About the Role:
• The Divisional Finance Business Partner has responsibility for the financial processes supporting the control and reporting of hotel financial performance for the Events Division partnering with the business to drive financial performance.
• You will be responsible for Financial Business Partnering, using the management accounts and regular reporting prepared by the other functions to provide financial insight and challenge.
• Act as a sounding board and subject matter expert for the Managing Director and General Managers on financial and commercial questions and work with them to deliver their financial objectives.
• As Divisional Finance Business Partner a key part of role will involve instilling and maintaining a sound control environment across your hotels within your Division.
• You will work closely with operational and commercial teams as a partner in driving the performance of the business.
• Work closely with the Managing Director and General Managers in reviewing the period management accounts, understanding variances and agreeing actions plans where needed.
• The role will be embedded in the operations but remain independent and will report to the CFO.
• This role can be based in South or Midlands as travel to all the hotels will be required.
About you:
• To be considered for this role, you will need to have current experience as a Finance Business Partner within the hospitality industry
• It is essential you are qualified accountant with either (ACA/ACCA,CIMA).
• Have advanced user knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Sage Intacct and Opera.
• Be able to demonstrate highly analytical and strong numerical skills.
• Excellent communicator at all levels, able to distil information and communicate concisely with different audiences.
• Be able to demonstrate a transformation mind-set and the ability to get things done in a fast moving and dynamic environment.
• Ability to challenge and respectfully hold their ground respectfully.
• Confident with presenting written information to a high professional standard.
• Be able to travel as required and have your own transport.
