ISS is seeking a commercially focused and proactive Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team, supporting a key client account. This role is an excellent opportunity to work as a trusted advisor—offering real-time financial support, delivering insights, and driving decision-making that directly impacts our strategic direction.

Based in Stoke with flexible hybrid working, you’ll be the go-to finance contact for both ISS UK and the client, leading on end-to-end financial management and contractual reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic finance partner to account teams, delivering analysis and insights that shape key business decisions.
• Own all financial and contractual reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ISS and client standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and client representatives.
• Manage the billing process, oversee cash collection, and maintain accurate balance sheets.
• Drive financial performance through forecasting, performance reporting, and strategic risk and opportunity assessments.
• Ensure contract governance is followed, including client reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with change controls.
• Lead or support initiatives to improve commercial performance, optimise contracts, and reduce costs.
• Provide support to the Senior Finance Business Partner and wider leadership team, particularly during month-end and year-end processes.
• Support procurement and supply chain governance in collaboration with the account team.
• Help ensure adherence to internal audit, financial policies, and process improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CA, CIMA, ACCA)
• Proven experience in commercial finance, preferably in a contract-based service environment
• Prior client-facing experience is essential
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Commercially astute with a high attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Skilled in Excel and familiar with financial systems and tools
• Ability to manage competing priorities and drive performance through data and insight
• Positive, proactive, and adaptable to change
