Finance Business Partner (Sport)

I am currently recruiting for an instantly recognisable sporting business based on the border of Milton Keynes and Northampton who are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their high performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly dynamic business in what is an exciting time.

Please note, this role will be 5 days a week in the office on site so cannot consider candidates needing hybrid working.

In this role you will work with the Head of Commercial Finance to support a number of high value, high profile projects working with the operational teams to drive change, implement reporting processes and ensure the operational teams remain compliant.

You will:

• Support, influence and challenge non-financial stakeholders
• Act as the key financial advisor to managers
• Analyse and track key financial metrics, specifically on capital expenditure
• Provide financial analysis to support strategic initiatives
• Work with stakeholders in the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts
• Identify opportunities and risks
• Provide support to wider team on reporting, queries and analysis

About You:

• Part or Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
• Prior experience within a commercial finance or business partnering role
• Experience within retail, supply chain, manufacturing or sport (preferred but not essential)
• Confident working with stakeholders
• Ability to work proactively
• Confident dealing with non-financial stakeholders
