Finance Data Analyst - £65-70k + bonus - London (Hybrid)
My client is a large multi-national private equity funded technology business that has significant investment and growth potential and is looking for a high performing commercial and analytical finance professional that can help bridge the gap between finance and data through delivering commercial insights into KPIs and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Extract key data for insight generation using customer usage to identify key trends and profitability
- Build financial analysis and modelling
- Build, design and automate reports and dashboards (PowerBI) to present relevant financial data in a timely, clear and concise manner
- Provide insight on external data points such as market size, market share and competition performance
- Business partnering with areas such as Technology, Product and Data
Key requirements
- Strong experience in SQL, database and visualisation tools (PowerBi)
- Understanding of the P&L, Cashflow and BS
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Works in a systematic, orderly way, monitors and maintains quality
- Growth mentality, looking to improve ways of working.
- Works productively in a high-pressure environment, maintains positive outlook
- Manages time effectively, identifies and organises resources to accomplish tasks
- Experience working with large data sets using SQL to query databases
- Proven ability to turn data into insight and present clearly and concisely
