Finance Data Performance Manager – Hybrid – (2 Days/ week)

An exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional with strong data and BI skills to join one of our longest standing client relationships.
The role:
Reporting to the Financial Services Director and working closely with Data & Analytics, you’ll be the driving force behind modernising finance data performance solutions across the business. You’ll lead the adoption of Power BI, develop robust reporting tools, and empower finance teams and stakeholders to use data-driven insights that shape strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities:
✅ Lead and expand adoption of Power BI across finance, owning and governing BI workspaces
✅ Build and maintain finance datasets and reporting standards, ensuring data quality and governance
✅ Design impactful reports that connect financial data with wider business insights
✅ Support finance projects with data modelling, analysis, and reporting expertise
✅ Partner with stakeholders across finance and the wider business, presenting insights that drive decision-making
✅ Manage the transition from legacy systems to Workday reporting tools
✅ Develop and nurture a Power BI champion network across finance, supporting training and documentation
Experience required:
🔸 Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong commercial finance experience
🔸 Skilled in Power BI, SQL, DAX, and data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau)
🔸 Proven ability to work with large datasets and apply data governance best practice
🔸 Strong stakeholder management and communication skills – able to present complex data clearly to non-finance audiences
🔸 Experience of financial modelling, reporting, and KPI analysis
🔸 Knowledge of Workday reporting tools (desirable)
