Finance Director

This CharityJob client seeks a visionary Finance Director to help steer a respected, well-established charity at a pivotal moment in its strategic development.

Reporting to the Chief Executive and working as part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in shaping the organisation’s future and ensuring long-term financial sustainability. You will lead on all aspects of financial management, planning, and reporting, while also overseeing risk assurance, financial compliance, procurement, and pensions.

With senior finance leadership experience, strategic acumen, and strong stakeholder engagement skills, you will be a collaborative leader who places people at the heart of your approach, with the ability to build effective relationships across the organisation and with external partners. This charity values individuals who can work closely with the Board of Trustees and Finance subcommittee, and who demonstrate a strong commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, as well as environmental sustainability. Alignment with values and purpose is essential.

You will be a strategic thinker and hands-on leader with:

• Proven experience in senior financial leadership
• Strong understanding of charity finance, governance, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
