Description

We’re pleased to be supporting a Housing Association to support in the recruitment of an interim Finance Director. The post holder will need substantial leadership experience within the Housing sector and confident stabilising a team during a period of change.

Key duties:

Ensure robust financial control and compliance
Provide day‑to‑day leadership to the finance team, offering coaching and stabilising workloads
Advise the Executive Team and Board on financial health and short‑term risks
Improve processes, financial systems, and reporting quality
Oversee year end and lead the preparation for audit

Essential for the role:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Proven interim or senior finance leadership experience within the housing sector, essential to be demonstrated upon application
Must have recent housing association experience

Role information:

Contract length: 9 month
Day rate: £800 - £950
Location: London (hybrid working 2/3 on site)
