Investigo are delighted to be partnering with a fast track, Private Equity backed, consumer led, International Group as they advance their H2 strategy with the recruitment of a new UK Finance Director.

Partnering with the Group CFO, COO, Private Equity Partners and their International network, this is the perfect opportunity for a strong commercial mind to help shape future strategic decisions and challenge the status quo.

This is an all-encompassing leadership role at the heart of decision making. You will contribute to driving the commercial success and growth of the company through FP&A, Commercial Finance and Financial Control activity. You will advise the senior leadership team on implementing recommendations to achieve the most profitable results for the business, as well as driving ERP projects and future cash-flow.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Full responsibility for the UK finance function, including FP&A, Commercial Finance, Financial Control, Treasury & BI.
• Leading all financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activity including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Lead a key Finance transformation project to upgraded ERP, ensuring financial readiness for the change and process improvement.
• Identify, implement & lead efficient financial and operational processes to achieve sustainable growth.
• Responsible for Financial Controls and Reporting including statutory accounting.
• Helping to improve the treasury team and cash flow processes.
• Oversee relationships with external audit, internal audit, pension scheme trustees and banks.
• Lead the monthly business review to Group CEO and CFO, as well as UK Execs.
• Produce high-level MI to support key decision-making across the business.
• Support the leadership team in terms of business development, modelling and strategic growth opportunities.
• Advance key strategies to increase return on investment and profitability.

Ideal Profile:

We are seeking a well-rounded Finance Director (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with the following experience/ exposure:

• Experience of managing a full finance function with specific strengths in FP&A, Financial Control & Treasury.
• Ability to demonstrate sound commercial judgement with previous legacy experience in either an ERP implementation or upgrade.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a finance team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Be an exceptional leader, capable of managing a diverse range of responsibilities and deliverables in line with the business and PE owners
• Previous exposure to Private Equity (PE) would be a benefit
• Experience of a multi-site / multinational business with a consumer focus would be highly preferred – Retail, FMCG, Consumer, Hospitality or Leisure
